London Design Festival Guide

Lucy was guest editor of the 2007 London Design Festival Guide, when the Festival reached its fifth year. With over 200 projects taking place across London and audiences of 300,000, it is now a major fixture on the international creative calendar and one of the most important design events in the world. The Festival works in partnership with a wide network of organisations and individuals, ranging from museums and retailers, to educational institutions, creative businesses, trade shows, magazines, designers and international cities.
The guide, a 265-page publication designed by Pentagram, and responsible for the London Design Festival brand and visual identity as a whole, featured thought-provoking features by leading commentators and a fully illustrated listings of the festival's events programme. The features were: Change Rules by Lucy Bullivant; Material benefits by Caroline Roux; Sustainable London - Victim or Valiant? by Jane Withers; From the Margins to Centre Stage by Gareth Williams and Design with Attitude by Chris Sanderson. Around 180,000 copies of the Guide were distributed free of charge to all partner bodies and members of the press.
