Since meeting Lucy Bullivant in 1995, and getting to know her both personally and professionally, I can say that I have rarely met anyone so openly passionate, driven, and dedicated to her profession as a writer and curator. Always in search of fresh new perspectives on architecture and design and determined to communicate about them via her publications and exhibitions. She has written about me in several publications including responsive environments, invited me to talk at the ICA, London, and has been utterly supportive of my work. In many ways, she has been the inter-mediator between my work and the public realm. To this day, when I want to clearly present my work, I will use Lucy's writings as my translation.

The AD '4dSocial' book by Lucy Bullivant created an in-depth perspective on contemporary interactive art and architecture. For our design studio the book marked an important but also personal new default. It was a pleasure to work with Lucy with all her enthusiasm, editorial sincerity and eye for Victorian techno-poetry.

Daan Roosegaarde, Artist & Creative Director, Studio Roosegaarde, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, December 29, 2011

I invited Lucy to lecture to our Masters students at the Royal College of Art. She gave the most well prepared, fluent and cogent talk of the whole series, packed with research and thoughts, and brilliantly illustrated with a generous pack of slides.

Alex Haw, architect, co-founder of Atmos and teacher at the RCA, Architecture Department, January 21, 2012

I have commissioned Lucy on a number of occasions to write press materials for my clients. She is very thorough and the final work is always done to a very high standard. Her training as a journalist really shows through in the finished materials.

I work with Lucy on the Emirates Glass LEAF Awards her knowledge & her hard work as a judge as well as presenting the awards in 2011 was faultless. She is always happy to help and I am pleased that once again she is on the judging panel for the 2012 award show.
